North Bute is the northernmost parish of the Isle of Bute in Buteshire. It is bounded to the south by Kingarth; and to the south-east by Rothesay. The ruins of the parish church stand on the B875 road between Ettrick Bay and Port Bannatyne, 3½ miles north-west of Rothesay.

The parish includes the island of Inchmarnock, and the parts of Bute island north of Rothesay. With an extreme length of eight miles and breadth of four miles, it has a land area of 15,546 acres. In the 2011 census, the parish had a population of 743.
