Newton upon Derwent or Newton on Derwent is a village in the East Riding of [[Yorkshire], five miles west of Pocklington and a mile south of the A1079 at Wilberfoss. It is also a mile east of the River Derwent after which the village takes its name.
The 2011 census recorded Newton upon Derwent parish with a population of 315.
