Nether Silton is a village in the North Riding of Yorkshire, six miles east of Northallerton, on the border of the North York Moors national park.
There is a parish church, All Saints, and one pub, the Gold Cup Inn, each located in the centre of Nether Silton.[1]

Church
All Saints Church was rebuilt in 1812, and enlarged in 1878.[2]
The chancel rails may originate from HMS Dreadnought.[2] The stained glass windows in the church are in remembrance of the Scaife family,[2] who originally came from the area of Thirsk, and were known as the Mowbray Scaifes.[3]
All Saints Church is part of the Imperial War Museum Project.[4]
History
During 1870–72 Nether Silton was described as:
"a chapelry in Leake parish, N. R. Yorkshire; 6½ miles E of Northallerton r. station. Post town, Thirsk. Real property, £1,702. Pop. 178. Houses, 45."[5]
