Littletown is a hamlet which became one of the constituent settlements forming Liversedge in the West Riding of Yorkshire, and now part of the unbroken conurbation spreading out from Dewsbury. Much of the village centre was demolished in the 1960s for road widening.
Although local residents always refer to Littletown as a town, its size and population make it a village. Its name is literally a little town, but it is reputedly named after a Mr Little.
