Kingshouse

Kingshouse is a hamlet in the parish of Balquhidder, Perthshire. It is situated at the junction of the Old Military Road and the Balquhidder road, just off the A84 Stirling to Crianlarich trunk road. It was formerly the site of the Kingshouse Platform, a station opened on the Callander and Oban Railway on 21 June 1871. It was closed on 27 September 1965 following a landslide in Glen Ogle.
