Eddisbury is one of the hundreds of Cheshire, located in the centre of the county. It is bounded to the north-east by Bucklow Hundred; to the east by Northwich Hundred; to the south-east by Nantwich Hundred; and to the west by Broxton Hundred. It had a population of 91,416 in 2011.
It comprises the following ancient parishes:

Census reports suggest Willington is part of Whalley, whereas other sources reckon it as extra-parochial.
