Eastburn is a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire, close by Kirkburn (to which parish it belongs) in the Yorkshire Wolds. The hamlet is to be found on the A164 road, approximately two and a half miles south-west of Driffield town centre and 3 miles (5 km) north-west of the village of Hutton Cranswick.
In 1823 Eastburn noted as being within in the parish of Kirkburn, in the Harthill Wapentake, and that it had a population of 12, which included a yeoman.[1]
