Dyrham Park, run as the Dyrham Park Country Club, is a country house, estate and golf club in Middlesex, in the countryside in the north of the county near Dancers Hill: Dyrham Park is found about midway between Potter's Bar (the county's northernmost town) to the north-east, Monken Hadley and High Barnet to the south and .Borehamwood in to the south-west. The county border with Hertfordshire cuts through the edge of the park: the house, now the clubhouse for the golf club, is on the Middlesex side.
The Mimmshall Brook flows through the eastern part of the park and along its southern boundary. Its waters have been used to form an ornamental lake.

The entrance gates are Grade II* listed.[1]
The house is a white Palladian mansion, set in two hundred acres, with an 18-hole golf course, adjacent to The Shire London Golf Club. The estate was originally settled as a manor in Elizabethan times and the current Palladian mansion was built in the 19th century. The house was renovated in the 1960s and the golf course was established in 1963.[2] The house is a Grade II listed building.[3]
Golf
In its history, Dyrham Park has hosted numerous championships, including the 1974 JNF pro-am golf tournament, featuring 136 golfers.[4] Due to its close proximity to Elstree Studios it has been extensively used as a filming location for numerous television series and films, including The Saint, The Avengers and "The Smile Behind the Veil" episode of Randall and Hopkirk (Deceased) in the 1960s and films such as The Strange World of Planet X (1957), The Devil's Disciple (1959) and The Secret of My Success (1965).[5][6]
