Camore is a small hamlet, half a mile directly south-east of Evelix, and a miles and a half west of Dornoch, in the south-east of Sutherland.
Beside the village is a small wood, Murray's Plantation, which is nevertheless bigger than Camore. JUust south of the village is a Forestry Commission woodland, Camore Wood, and beyond it the sandy mouth of the Dornoch Firth.
