Ca na Catanach (a Gaelic name meaning "Path of the Sutherland Men") is a road and footpath between Sutherland and Caithness.[1] It is noted as a mediæval drovers' road by the Royal Commission on the Ancient and Historical Monuments of Scotland,[2] and Scottish Natural Heritage have adopted it as a 'Heritage Path' 22 miles long.[3]

The road starts at Dorrery Lodge in Caithness and it ends just north of Achentoul in Sutherland. The 8½ mile section from Thurso to Kinbrace is a rough walking path.

A 19th century estate road overlies Ca na Catanach.
