Ayot Green is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, one of the three villages by the name of "Ayot" along with Ayot St Lawrence and Ayot St Peter.
Ayot Green stands right by the A1(M) motorway, close to Welwyn Garden City. The motorway though noisy at times serves more to isolate the village in its country setting and it remains a typical, traditional village, centred around a village green.
A rail trail called Ayot Greenway stretches from Ayot Green to Wheathampstead.
