Menai Hundred

Menai hundred in Anglesey

Menai is a hundred and commote of Anglesey, along the Menai Strait in the south of the island. Together with Tindaethwy it forms the cantref of Rhosyr. The hundred had a population of 11,342 in 2011.

It comprises the ancient parishes of:

• Llanedwan
• Llanffinnan
• Llanfihangel Ysgeifiog
• Llangaffo
• Llangefni
• Llangeinwen
• Llangwyllog
• Llanidan
• Newborough
• Rhodogeidio (det.)
