Knock Fell is a mountain of 2,605 feet in Westmorland, in the Pennines, to the east of the county town, Appleby-in-Westmorland. It stands on the ridge forming the watershed between the east and west coasts, to the immediate south-east of Great Dun Fell (2,779 feet)
The Pennine Way, climbing up from Dufton, runs over the summit before heading on to Great Dun Fell and Cross Fell: belyond that, the Pennine Way crosses into Cumberland.
