Cold Kirby is a village in the North Riding of Yorkshire. The population at the 2011 census (including Angram Grange) was recorded as 205.
The village is among the Hambleton Hills, part of the North York Moors: the scarp of the hills is just to the west. The Cleveland Way long-distance walking route runs through the village and out to the escarpment.. Nearby are Rievaulx Abbey and Sutton Bank, and five miles to the east is Helmsley.
