Burnby is a village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, sitting about two and a half miles south-east of the market town of Pocklington and four miles north-west of the market town of Market Weighton, a mile to the east of the A1079 road.
The parish church, St Giles, is a Grade II* listed building.[1]
Burnby was served by Nunburnholme railway station on the York to Beverley Line between 1847 and 1951.[2]
