Alkerton is a village in Gloucestershire which stands next to Eastington and is barely distinguishable from it. It is found at the edge of the Vale of Berkeley, the low plain along the east shore of the River Severn, and west of Stroud. The M5 motorway passes immediately west of the village, and the River Frome is to the north.
