Littlebeck is a delightful little hamlet in the North Riding of Yorkshire, near Whitby. It stands on the Little Beck, a minor tributary of the River Esk.

The hamlet's small river is named unimaginatively, the Little Beck, which becomes the Burndale Beck lower down before it enters the Esk at Sleights. (The equally unimaginative Falling Foss is a waterfall on the beck above Littlebeck.)

The closest town is Whitby to the north-east, and the nearest village is Sleights, a mile and a half downstream, to the north.

The hamlet is within the North York Moors National Park.
