Little Strickland is a small Westmorland village, just half a mile east of the course of the M6 motorway and the A6, two and a half miles south of Great Strickland. Westmorland's county town, Appleby-in-Westmorland, is eight miles to the east.
The village has one place of worship and a telephone box. The population of the civil parish as taken at the 2011 Census was less than 100.
