Brunstock is a hamlet in Cumberland, just to the north-east of the county town, Carlisle.

The hamlet sits uncomfortably between the M6 motorway scraping its south-west edge, and the A689 road. The B6264 to the south forms the third edge of a triangle around Brunstock. The M6 separates Brunstock from Houghton.

This place is just to the north of the line of Hadrian's Wall, south of which are the meanders of the the River Eden at Linstock. Brunstock Beck is a stream nearby, curling around the village on its way to the Eden.
