Bencorr is a mountain amongst the Twelve Bens in Connemara, County Galway.
Bencorr reaches a height of 2,333 feet. It is the second-highest mountain in the Twelve Bens and of all County Galway, overtopped only by Benbaun.
The name is form the Irish language: Binn Chorr means "Pointed Peak".
The writer and cartographer Tim Robinson gave this mountain the alternative name of Binn an Choire Mhóir or peak of the big corrie.
