Burton is a village in the Lindsey, the northern part of Lincolnshire, some two miles north of the county town, the City of Lincoln. The village sits on the side of the Lincoln Cliff overlooking the valley of the River Trent.

The recorded population at the 2011 census was 625.

The parish church of Burton, St Vincent, is a Grade II listed building.[1]
