Purslow hundred in Shropshire

Purslow Hundred is a hundred in Shropshire, named after the village of Purslow, which it contains. It is situated in the south-west of the county, adjacent to the borders with Herefordshire, Montgomeryshire and Radnorshire. It had a population of 6,449 in 2011.

It comprises the ancient parishes of:

: In Clun hundred.
: Remainder in Herefordshire.
§: In Montgomeryshire.
: Remainder in Ford hundred.
: Mostly in Montgomeryshire.
#: Partly in Munslow hundred.

Additionally, the township of Rownton and Broome (in the ancient parishes of Stokesay, Clungunford and Hopesay) forms part of Purslow hundred. Lurkenhope in the ancient parish of Stow is said to be in Clun hundred.
