Glentress is a hamlet, with a farm and cottages, and a hotel, in Peeblesshire, standing to the north of the River Tweed downstream of Peebles. Which is two miles to the west.
The village is at the foot of the Pentland Hills, which extend northwards from here. The Glentress Forest covers the hills north of the hamlet.
