Robin Hood's Cave, Stanage Edge
SK244836
Co-ordinates: 53°20’55"N, 1°38’6"W

'Robin Hood Cave, once known as Robin Hood's Hall, is hidden in the rocks on Stanage Edge, at the very edge of Derbyshire and the Peak District, looking out over the Hallam Moors of Yorkshire.

The cave is best known to the climbers who brave the crags of the Edge, and the ledge beneath the cave mouth often accommodates them. It provides too a fine vantage over the Yorkshire lands to northwards.
