Egypt is a hamlet in Buckinghamshire within the parish of Burnham. It stands on the edge of Burnham Beeches, just to the north of Farnham Common.
It is thought that the hamlet was so named because it was a common settling point for Gypsies, as it was the common belief that Gypsies came from Egypt.
