Witham St Hughs is a new-build development in Kesteven, the south-western part of Lincolnshire. The population of the civil parish (including Thurlby) was 2,356 at the 2011 census. It is situated less than half a mile south of the A46 road, geographically eight miles south-west of the county town, the City of Lincoln, and seven miles north-east of the town of Newark-on-Trent.
The village has a primary school.[1]
Businesses located in Witham St Hughs include UK Mail, Limagrain, Germinal and Cargill. Frontier Agriculture, the UK’s largest crop production and grain marketing business has its head office in Witham St Hughs.
There is a nursery in the village, a co-op and two takeaway restaurants. There are infrequent bus services to Lincoln and Newark.
