The Wanderlust Way is a delightfully named walking route in north-eastern Lincolnshire running in an elongated ring for 20 miles in Lindsey between the low ground that reached in from the Humber and the coast and up to the edge of the Lincolnshire Wolds.
On its circuit the Wanderlust Way wends its way through some attractive little villages and across the woods and farmland of the Wolds. Climbing to the Wolds it provides broad views across the mouth of the industrialised Humber Estuary.
The route was created as 'The Bradley 20', after its length and starting point, but in 1990 it was renamed to commemorate the life and work of James Neville Cole (1916 - 1989), co-founder of the Wanderlust Rambling Club.
