Welsh Highland Railway The Welsh Highland Railway is a 25-mile, restored narrow gauge heritage railway in Caernarfonshire. It runs on a single track, operating from Caernarfon to Porthmadog, passing through a number of popular tourist destinations including Beddgelert and the Aberglaslyn Pass.
