Silbury Hill Silbury Hill is a prehistoric, artificial chalk hill 131 feet high near Avebury in Wiltshire. It is part of the 'Stonehenge, Avebury and Associated Sites World Heritage Site'. The hill is one of the complex of Neolithic monuments around Avebury, which includes the Avebury Ring and the West Kennet Long Barrow. It is the tallest prehistoric human-made mound in Europe and one of the largest in the world. (Read more)
