River Ribble

The River Ribble is a river seventy-five miles long which runs through the West Riding of Yorkshire and Lancashire. At Clitheroe it forms the border between the two counties, before entering Lancashire alone, eventually reaching the sea in a long, funnel-shaped estuary below Preston and out to Lytham St Annes.
