Tea Green is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, two and a half miles south of Great Offley and just half a mile from the county's border with Bedfordshire, immediately across which are the swollen suburbs of Luton. Tea Green though is a little place with a population counted at just 44. Tea Green stands on top of a chalk ridge on the opposite side of Lilley Bottom / Mimram Valley.
A major landmark is the tall water tower which is next to the White Horse pub.
Two of the oldest barns in the area (dating from the 16th century) are located at Tankards and Crutchmore Farms.[1]
