Tay Head is a rocky headland on the south coast of Joinville Island, an island off the north-eastern tip of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.

The headland is six nautical miles east of Mount Alexander, extending into the Firth of Tay.

Tay Head was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from "Hope Bay" in 1953-54. The name 'Tay Head' was confirmed by the United Kingdom Antarctic Place-Names Committee in 1963, derived from the Firth of Tay, into which it projects.
