Tönsberg Point is the north entrance point of Husvik Harbour within Stromness Bay on South Georgia's north coast. It is the east extremity of a low rocky peninsula which projects into Stromness Bay, separating Stromness Harbour on the north from Husvik Harbour on the south.
The name of this headland was in use as early as 1912 after the Tönsberg Hvalfangeri, a Norwegian Whaling Company that operated at Husvik Harbour.
