Tønsberg Cove lies south of Penguin Point, on Bridger Bay, in the north-west of Coronation Island amongst the South Orkney Islands in the British Antarctic Territory.
The cove was charted by Sørlle, 1912-13, and named Tønsberg Fjord, after the whaling company Tønsberg Hvalfangeri of Tønsberg, Norway, which operated a permanent whaling base in the South Orkney Islands from 1920 to 1930. The cove was surveyed by the Falkland Islands Dependencies Survey from Signy in 1956-58. (Tønsberg Point on South Georgia, is also named after the whaling company.)
