Stromness Harbour is a sheltered bay within Stromness Bay on the north coast of South Georgia. An old whaling station, Stromness, stands on its shire. Stromness Harbour is the central of three harbours on west side of Stromness Bay.
This bay was earlier called 'Rosita Cove', probably after the whale-catcher Rosita of the Salvesen fleet. It was later named Stromness Harbour. The harbour was charted by Discovery Investigations in 1928.
