Sunderlandwick is a hamlet in the East Riding of Yorkshire, standing a mile and a half south of Driffield and to the west of the A164 road.
The grand house of the hamlet, Sunderlandwick House is a Grade II listed building,[1] as are ts stables.[2] The house was built in 1962–63 for Sir Thomas Ferens on the site of an earlier Georgian house, Sunderlandwick Hall, built in the eighteenth century, altered in 1840s, and burnt down on VJ Day, 1945.
