Storm Mountain is the highest peak of a compact range of hills on West Falkland in the Falkland Islands known as the Byron Heights
The Byron Heights occupy on a narrow peninsula jutting out into the sea between Byron Sound and King George Bay, ending at a wild headland facing Westpoint Island.
The name of the mountain is appropriate: its high, exposed location leaves it open to being battered by the South Atlantic storms.
