Spellbrook is a hamlet in Hertfordshire, in the very east of the county, sitting between Bishop's Stortford to the north and Sawbridgeworth to the south. The River Stort, which here is the boundary with Essex, flows along the eastern edge of the village, past the Three Horseshoes public house.
Spellbrook is three miles south of Bishop's Stortford, thirteen miles east of the county town, Hertford. It runs along the A1184 road out of Bishop's Stortford. A bridge crosses the river here to Little Hallingbury in Essex.
The village has a primary school; Spellbrook Primary School.
Other nearby villages include Trimms Green and Allen's Green, each a tiny place lying to the west.
