Shiel Bridge is a village in Ross-shire, standing where the River Shiel runs out into the head of Loch Duich, a sea loch indenting the west coast. The village is just below Loch Shiel too, a small loch on the course of the river.
The village of Ratagan is a mile south-east of the village. The A87 road passes through the village, continuing on along the north coast of Loch Duich, passing Dornie, Nostie and Kirkton on to Kyle of Lochalsh.
From here fine views may be enjoyed amongst the Glen Shiel Hills, and the village may be a base for expeditions amongst them.
