Shelsley Beauchamp or Great Shelsley is a village and parish nine miles north-west of Worcester, in the Doddingtree hundred of Worcestershire.[1] In 2011 the parish had a population of 192.[2] It is on the opposite bank of the River Teme to Shelsley Walsh.[3] The civil parish touches Clifton upon Teme, Great Witley, Martley, Shelsley Kings and Shelsley Walsh.[4] It shares a parish council with Shelsley Kings and Shelsley Walsh called the Shelsley Parish Council.[5]

History
The name "Beauchamp" comes from the Beauchamps who held Shelsley Beauchamp in the 12th century.[9]
