Routenbeck is a hamlet in Cumberland, at the northern foot of Sale Fell, near the north-west edge of Bassenthwaite Lake. The village is just over two miles south-west of Bassenthwaite Village and fiev miles east of the town of Cockermouth.
Roputenbeck contains an Old Vicarage.[1] The nearest pub is the Pheasant Inn, about a third of a mile along the road to the north-east.
