Redpath is a village in western Berwickshire, on the east side of the Leader Water, less than a mile from the place where it enters the River Tweed.
Melrose, across the Tweed in Roxburghshire, is two and a half miles to the south-west, while the famous viewing point known as Scott's View is a mile to the south-east.
