Platter Island is one of the Danger Islands, a cluster of islets off Joinville Island, off the northern tip of Graham Land in the British Antarctic Territory.
This is one of the smallest of the Danger Islands. It was named descriptively by the Argentine Antarctic Expedition Islote Plato, meaning 'platter islet', whence the name Platter Island.
