North Fur Island is a small sland, of just 190 acres, just over a quarter of a square mile, at the eastern end of the chain of the Jason Islands, which extend north-westwards from the tip of West Falkland in the Falkland Islands.
The island has steep cliffs. It has never been settled nor stocked, probably because access is difficult.
To the south-west is Elephant Jason and further south, unsurprisingly, is South Fur Island, and island a third of the size of North Fur.
