Magilligan Strand

Magilligan Strand is a long, sandy beach stretching seven miles along the east shore of Lough Foyle in County Londonderry, from Magilligan Point southwards towards the mouth of the River Roe.
Sheltered from the open sea and lying along the shallow sea-lough, the sands are wide, but less frequented than the beaches of the north coast of the county.
