Loch Fada (Colonsay)

Loch Fada is a freshwater loch on the Inner Hebridean island of Colonsay, in Argyllshire. It extends for almost two miles between Kiloran and Lower Kilchattan, consisting in fact of a string of three lochs, and is together the largest loch on Colonsay.
The name 'Loch Fada' is Gaelic for 'Long Lake'. It is a Designated Special Area of Conservation.
