Llansaintfraed is a tiny ancient parish in Monmouthshire south of Abergavenny. It is bounded by Llanthewy Rytherch to the north, Llanarth to the east, and across the Ffrwd brook to the west, Llanvihangel-Nigh-Usk. It forms part of the Abergavenny Hundred.
The Church, dedicated to St Bridget, has a fascinating history, and it houses some unique alabasters set into the walls that date from possibly as early as the 16th century, as well as 12th-century font.
Llansantffraed Court was the country seat and estate of Sir John Morley In the fourteenth century. It is now a four-star hotel and restaurant.
