Llanfarian is a village and parish in Cardiganshire, south of Aberystwyth. It lies above the banks of the river Ystwyth in the Ystwyth Valley.
The 2001 census showed Llanfarian as having a population of 1,442.
Ystwyth Trail
Llanfarian is located at the western edge of the Ystwyth Trail.[1]

Historical Notes
The now disused and dismantled Manchester and Milford Railway stopped here at Llanrhystud Road station.[3]
