Legburthwaite is a hamlet in Cumberland, deep within the Lake District close to the foot of Thirlmere. It may be found where the A591 road and the B5322 road meet at the north of the lake, about five miles south-east of Keswick.
Legburthwaite has a chapel and a youth hostel, though little else.
