Kexby is a small village in the East Riding of Yorkshire, due east of the City of York on the A1079 York to Hull road. The village stands on the western bank of the River Derwent.
To the east, across the river, is Wilberfoss, to which ecclesiastical parish Kexby belongs (the parish church, St John the Baptist, is in Wilberfoss). The church in Kexby, St Paul's Church, has been sold and is now a private house. It remains a Grade II listed building.[1]
